Business Analyst 

 

KRA’s

  • Design solutions, program management, suggest operation improvements and stakeholder management in a cross-functional environment. 
  • Provide support in complex MIS, reporting and analytics deployments.
  • Documentation of business requirements, approach and technical specifications.
  • Diagnostic review of data quality, existing processes and training of customer teams.
  • Develop scripts for extraction, transformation, incremental loadings.
  • Design and development of dashboards and insights.
  • Publishing and scheduling reports.
  • Increase adoption through feature updates, trainings and documentation.
  • Present findings to senior management to demonstrate business impact.
  • Data Driven: Sharp aptitude and excellent numerical acumen; ability to sift through large volumes of data.
  • Problem-solving skills: “Problem-solving is an important form of critical thinking”. Ability to understand the problem from all the perspectives (i.e. business, technical and end-user), analyze the available options and constraints and then, recommend possible solutions

 

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
  • Exposure in Excel, BI or reporting tools.
  • Good communication and people management skills.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel and Advanced SQL (must-have), Python is Plus
  • Understanding of basic statistics and probability concepts
  • Cultural fit: Structured problem-solving skills. Willingness to experiment.
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work in a flat hierarchy. Excellent communication skills
